HISTORY

The beginnings of the company PHZ VIPOL reach back to 1990 and are based on a one-person business entity with 100% share of private Polish capital.

Nobody supposed that within merely several years of activity conducted by the owners a few business entities would be formed with varied profiles of activity.

The basic subject of business activity of PHZ VIPOL since 1990 has been import of clothes and textile products from the Far East countries. As an unquestionable leader in Poland in the import of textiles and textile products from Thailand, China and Indonesia, company PHZ VIPOL supplied jeans clothes, underwear, socks, stockings, sports shoes both into the Polish and into foreign markets. Between 1992-1998, 70% of goods imported by PHZ VIPOL were supplied to Russia, where a well-operating trade office was created. During the same time, the company also imported household appliances, and electronic devices.

The huge scale of own import was the cause for the creation of two additional branches of activity: bonded warehouse and transport.
One of the first bonded warehouses in Warsaw initially used for own needs, shortly has become one of the largest bonded warehouses in Poland providing outside services, trading mainly in textiles with foreign companies.
Whereas, domestic and international transport is the branch of PHZ VIPOL's activity which was based on a modern stock composed of several TIR trucks, container and canvas semitrailers.
In 1995 PHZ VIPOL started service activity as a licensed customs agency, by creating customs warehouses and the Customs Clearance Point. Under the scope of its activities, PHZ VIPOL represented, in front of the customs authorities, the interests of concerns and companies dealing in trade in goods on own account.
Since 1996 PHZ VIPOL started its expansion into the real property market. The Company owns and administers an office complex VIPOL PLAZA located in the Center of Warsaw, constructed with own funds, with the total utility area of 6000 sq. m, where the Company's headquarters are located.
PHZ VIPOL also owns and administers other real properties having utility character. It also owns a recreational resort MARINA YACHT CLUB with the area of 7800 sq. m located on Zegrze Lake in Wierzbica near Serock.
That real property has a modern yacht port and PKN ORLEN filling station. PHZ VIPOL also keeps another filling station at the Zegrze Lake, located in Nieporet.
Since 1997 PHZ VIPOL has had trade representations in China in Guangzhou Canton and Xamen.
Since 1998 the activity accompanying the investments on the real property market has become import of building materials. PHZ VIPOL's commercial offer includes several hundred varieties of granites, sandstones, marbles and travertines originating from China, being their exclusive importer into the Polish market. Company's offer also includes other types of natural stone originating from Italy and Spain.

Another year of PHZ VIPOL's business activity was a time of stabilization during which, independently from the current activity in the area of real property management, import of natural stone products dominated and which resulted in the activity undertaken by the Company in the area of performance of commercial building projects. Strong emphasis on this type of activity brought the fruits in the form of PHZ VIPOL's participation as the contractor of numerous public utility objects all over Poland.

PHZ VIPOL story closes putting into service of more office buildings with underground garages, forming part of an VIPOL PLAZA office complex in Wola District of Warsaw and waiting for the final stage of the investment license to build Warsaw Center in Hanoi Vietnam. This project is the largest Polish investment in this country (see the project details).
